Help For Children Atlanta was founded in 2004 by James (Jay) Martin. The branch's Committee of Hearts is chaired by Michelle Dobbins of Masters Capital Management and Ted Griffith of Old Ivy Capital Partners.
The Committee of Hearts holds an annual signature gala that is actively supported by the local hedge fund community. Since inception, the branch has made 47 grants of over $804,000 to innovative community-based nonprofits that are working to prevent and treat child abuse within the metro Atlanta area.
